About Molly Barnard Grant
As a mother of two active teenagers, I'm passionate about organization and understand the need to give thoughtful consideration to the functionality of a space. Living areas should comfortable, realistic and timeless. With these things in mind, I strive to create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
Your home is an extension of your personality which is why I like to cultivate a close designer/client relationship. I possess a meticulous attention to detail, which, I believe, helps foster a better understanding of your needs. Style & Inspiration
My style is very eclectic, I like a little bit of everything. I include pieces that are simple but sophisticated. I enjoy creating spaces that are clean, somewhat minimalistic, upbeat, casual and warm.

Philosophy
Keep it simple. Allow the accessories and details to do the work. practicing this method allows for flexibility in an ever changing design world.
Background In Design
I received my fine arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and have been on the move ever since. I have lived in Colorado, Ohio, Arizona and now, Massachusetts. With each move came an opportunity to gain a better picture of how my clients like to live.
As a designer I consider myself to be a perpetual student. I have discovered that if you leave yourself open to new ideas, concepts and practices, you are able to continually hone your craft.
My lessons started as a young child. my first teacher-- an extremely talented designer, my mother. I watched her scour design books for inspiration and study. Her ability to meticulously execute a plan with absolute perfection was mesmerizing. During those years we moved quite often and my mother's style changed with every new home. From this I was able to fine tune my skills and develop the ability to seamlessly blend styles.
One of the most important things I learned from my first teacher-- get to know your client. As a designer, that one lesson has given me the ability to guide homeowners through a process that is sometimes overwhelming. Creating a new living space for your home should be fun, interesting and above all, enjoyable.
